DENTAL HYGIENE
Dental hygiene is the practices and habits that are conducted to maintain and improve the health of the teeth and gums and prevent any diseases.
For healthy tooth and gums, one should:
1. Brush their teeth properly twice a day, and remember to not go to bed without brushing their teeth.
2. Floss their teeth as flossing is as important as brushing.
3. Drink more water as it may help to wash out the negative effects of sticky and acidic food.
4. Limit the intake of sugary and acidic food, and
5. See their dentist at least twice a year.
Always remember to take care of your tooth and gums as good oral hygiene equals good overall health.
