BREAST vs BOTTLE

“Breastfeeding” is the action of feeding human breast milk to a child while “Bottle feeding” is the action of feeding a baby with milk from a feeding bottle.

Breastfeeding is generally advised by the paediatricians to infants for the first 6 months of life as breastfed infants have fewer infections than the formula-fed infants as during breastfeeding, antibiotics and other germ fighting factors pass from a mother to her baby with helps to strengthen the immune system.

In bottle-feeding, the infant formula must include proper amounts of water, carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. The risk of infection is high in bottle-fed babies and it has more disadvantages than advantages.
