Artificial Intelligence(AI) is one of the revolutionary developments of 21st century and envisages to create a better future by improving the technology and innovations within its ambit. Artificial Intelligence is basically the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines , particularly computer systems. Some of the applications of AI include the automatic text appearance in text editors, face recognition, interest’s recognition, automatic  services by tracking the search history etc. Artificial Intelligence has a wide scope in future in every field. Fast and efficient completion of task could be achieved by incorporating AI techniques. However, present scenario is not very overwhelming since Artificial Intelligence is still growing and has a long way to go in a country like India where digital advancement is still a dream for a number of people. Digital divide and digital illiteracy have slowed down the progress of technologies like AI. Moreover, present scenario clearly defines India’s vision to be efficient and self-reliant in Artificial Intelligence in the coming years.
