VIRTUAL REALITY

Virtual reality or VR is a simulation generated using computers where a person interacts in an artificial environment. In this simulated reality, the users can have realistic experiences. This is one of the realities that has the highest potential of growth. The most recognizable part of a VR is the head mounted display (HMV). VR requires more than just graphics, both hearing and vision plays a major role for a person’s sense of space. In fact, humans react faster to audio cues than visual cues. Hence, to get the best experience of VR sound and visual characters are important.

The term VR was first used by Jaron Lanier in 1987 his research contributed a lot to the VR industry. VR is not just for entertainment and games but has also been for training for real life activities like military training, flight training and wa2r trainings. Real estate sellers also use VR to show their customers walk throughs of their homes or apartments this gives them a better idea of their house and they aren’t even physically present there.

It has also been used for educational purposes. A VR viewer is a 360-degree simulation so the user can look in any which way which makes them feel like they are in the VR.

Virtual realities definitely will revolutionise and develop in the future as it offers us a way to experience history, places and trains us to be better which makes virtual reality not only better in the game industry but all its aspects.
