Covid-19: Myths vs Reality
The swiftly spreading novel coronavirus continues its relentless attack around the world, upending life and creating a breeding ground for misinformation. Some rumours are tolerable and harmless, while others can be dangerous and health-threatening. One of the biggest myths is that vaccination would make people ill. This is completely wrong. Vaccines have been tested on large populations. Various rounds of trials and research assured the scientists to declare that vaccines are safe. Other myths like children are immune to the coronavirus, various Ayurvedic medicines can completely cure Covid-19, Covid-19 is no less than a common cold etc. are baseless. All these myths are baseless. Government itself has taken a number of steps to promote and spread correct information to the public. From the caller tunes to government portals, everywhere we can see messages to make us aware of the truth and ignore the myths. As a responsible citizen, we need to make us as well as our family aware of the truth. We should never believe on the wrong and baseless information that creates terror and disturbance in the society.
