ANXIETY MANAGEMENT
There are different types of strategies to keep your anxiety in check. Clearly, these work different for everyone and it takes time and lot of learning but also understand that if your anxiety is hard to handle seek help professionally.
Here are some strategies you can use:
1. Journaling your thoughts:
Writing things that make you anxious can help you get through the situation especially with someone dealing with generalized anxiety disorder or someone who has been feeling anxious for a long period of time
2. Finding and managing things that triggers you:
Identification and management of triggers can be done by you or a therapist. They can be things like caffeine, alcohol, Smoking which are some of the obvious things that triggers anxiety and there are less obvious things like long term issues such as trauma.
3. Meditation:
As we all know , meditation does take practice and time but once you get the hang of it this helps to reduce anxious thoughts.
