Agriculture in India
Agriculture belongs to the primary sector of Indian economy. India is the second largest producer of rice, wheat and some other agricultural products. 50% of country’s population depend on agriculture for livelihood. Agriculture along with fisheries contributes a larger amount to Gross Domestic Product (GDP). If our country can increase its agricultural productivity more, then there are chances of eliminating hunger and malnutrition. Our government is working towards using technology to improve productivity and it also provides some benefits to farmers like loan waivers. But due to pollution, climate changes have been happening which causes rainfall problems. Due to agriculture as well, methane gas is released which effects environment. So, safe methods with latest technology must be implemented in practising agriculture. #indianfarmers #agriculture #farmers #farmer #india #indianfarmer #agricultural #farm #technique #tractorlo...
